EVERYTHING AND NOTHING

This is the precursor painting to the Burn series. I made this when everything was on fire in the west, and after visiting a few burn areas in Colorado. I didn’t intend for this to become a surreal hellscape, but once it went that way it didn’t stop.

I really liked how the line turned out in this, but really wanted a finer, more drawn line for this kind of imagery, which led me to the graphite process I’m using now.
